Challenge Course Description:
Low ropes courses, as they are commonly called, are designed to challenge the physical and mental abilities of the participants and are extremely popular with pre-teen and teen age groups. All of the stations that comprise the Golden Goal Challenge Course have been carefully selected and designed with safety, education, and entertainment in mind. None of the activities can be accomplished alone and we hope the lessons learned by successful completion of the challenges will foster cooperation, communication, and an understanding of what it means to be part of a team. Each team will have the opportunity to complete the Golden Goal Challenge Course on their own under the direction of the coach or through a guided experience with Golden Goal personnel. Teams are free to use any one of the Challenge Course stations when they are available or to reserve specific time with the Golden Goal Park or Program directors.
