Team Skills Competition:
As part of the Opening Ceremonies each week a Team Skills Challenge
is presented on the Championship Field with all of the teams and
their families in attendance. Each team has representatives in
the two separate skills challenges (Obstacle Course and Puntoff)
with the best score in each age group receiving Skills Challenge
t-shirts. The Obstacle Course has been designed to showcase various
skills in Soccer with each participating teammate completing a
specific task, while the puntoff tests the punting accuracy of
the participants. These events are low pressure and fun activities
that are a great introductory program.

Golden Goal Challenge Course:
Low ropes courses, as they are commonly called, are designed to challenge
the physical and mental abilities of the participants and are extremely
popular with pre-teen and teen age groups. All of the stations that
comprise the Golden Goal Challenge Course have been carefully selected
and designed with safety, education, and entertainment in mind. None
of the activities can be accomplished alone and we hope the lessons
learned by successful completion of the challenges will foster cooperation,
communication, and an understanding of what it means to be part of
a team. Each team will have the opportunity to complete the Golden
Goal Challenge Course on their own under the direction of the coach
or through a guided experience with Golden Goal personnel. Teams
are free to use any one of the Challenge Course stations when they
are available or to reserve specific time with the Golden Goal Park
or Program directors.
